Melody's Surgery~代禱信

Dear寶貝Melody:

這是我們在妳手術的前後為妳email出的代禱信, 因著好多人迫切的為妳禱告, 上帝垂聽應允了每一個人的呼求, 讓妳順利地完成手術. 在這也要特別謝謝主耶穌趕在妳手術的前兩天醫治好妳的手足口病. 雖然妳在手術的前一個禮拜傳染到手足口病讓我們很擔心會延誤妳的手術日期, 當時更是不能明白神為何會允許這樣的事情發生, 但是現在回想起來, 我們真的很感謝神. 因為發病的時間恰到好處, 一個星期的時間剛好讓妳可以完全康復來迎接手術. 如果妳晚個幾天才得到手足口病的話(學校在妳之後陸陸續續又有七位小朋友得病), 肯定無法如期進行手術了. 所以我們不得不感謝神奇妙的安排和保守!! 也再次經歷到神的恩典夠我們用~~~

**Prayer Request for Melody**
Dear brothers and sisters:

As most of you've known, Melody is going to have an eye surgery this Thursday, May 8th. The surgery will start at 9:15 am and takes about 1.5 hours. We would like to ask for your prayer for her. Please pray for God's protection and healing be with her and the whole procedure will be smooth and successful.

After the surgery, Melody will be off from school for 3 to 4 days depends on her recovery. According to the doctor, she will suffer some discomfort after the surgery and she may need to take Tylenol if she feels pain. We pray that God will ease her discomfort and she will have a speedy recovery.

By the way, Melody got "Hand Foot Mouth Disease" last week and almost recovered over the weekend, but this morning her fever went up again to 103 degree. Although it dropped down now, we're still worried that the fever will come back again. Please pray that her fever will completely go away so that she can have surgery as scheduled on Thursday.

**Melody's Surgery Updates**
Dear all:

Praise the Lord that Melody's surgery went through well this morning. The surgery started at 10 am (a little bit delay as scheduled) and was done around 12 pm. After the surgery, Melody did suffer great discomfort and felt pain when we met her at recovery room. Her eyes were still bleeding too (looked scaring), but overall she was doing okay. Please continue to pray for her speedy recovery. Hope the bleeding will stop completely and the pain will be released soon. Thank you again for your prayer and caring!
