貴的嚇人的帳單

前一陣子收到Camino Medical Group寄來的帳單, 猜猜看Melody上次眼睛手術的費用總共多少錢? 看不清楚? 再放大一點給你看.....沒錯! 沒錯! 總共是$9,477. (折合台幣將近30萬耶!) 真的是貴的嚇人!! 而且她還是outpatient surgery, 如果是要住院的話, 費用一定更驚人! 幸好我們的保險有cover, 只需付$10. 後來寄了$10支票過去, CMG又退還給我們. 所以我們從頭到尾一毛錢也不用付. 真的是要感謝公司提供這麼好的醫療保險呀!!

It's really expensive!
Thank God that you have good insurance. :)

No wonder my cousin would go back to Taiwan to have an eye surgery. He has a good job in America, and I am sure that his company provides him good benefits. However, he'd rather go back to Tawian to get treatments because it must be too expensive here. :)
